Numby is an educational maths app designed for children aged 6–. We take privacy seriously, especially when it comes to children. This policy explains what data Numby collects, how it is used, and your rights as a parent or guardian.

Information We Collect

Numby does not collect any personal information.

All data created within the app — including child profiles, names, year groups, quiz scores, progress, and learning history — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.

We do not collect:

• Names or personal identifiers
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioural tracking data
• Email addresses or contact information

In-App Purchases

Numby offers optional paid features:

• Numby Plus — a one-time purchase (£4.99) that unlocks additional profile slots
• Parent Insights — a subscription (£1.99/month or £14.99/year) that provides weekly curriculum progress reports

All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID Settings.

Children's Privacy

Numby is designed for use by children aged 6–9 under parental supervision. Because all data is stored locally on the device and no personal information is collected or transmitted, Numby complies with children's privacy regulations including the UK Children's Code (AADC) and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-Party Services

Numby does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. There are no ads in Numby.
